Mark Valentine of United Entertainment, Kansas City, Missouri, had one mission this Cinco De Mayo, and that was to break to world record for most Chihuahuas in fancy dress in one place.
The current record is held by some Japanese dog-owners in Tokyo with 603 dogs, but, unfortunately for Mr. Valentine and his canine chums, they only managed to get 492 dogs (plus one pot-bellied pig) to rock up - but at least they got a dog in a tank, and that's got to count for something, right?
Despite no records being broken this time around, Valentine's grand project still manages to drum up $2,500 (£1,547) for their local animal shelter, and he vows to try again the same time next year.
