WATCH: Brazilian Footballer Moonwalks In Protest At Yellow Card

When Paolo di Canio pushed referee Paul Alcock to the ground after he was sent off in 1998, it was difficult to think of a better "protest" at being reprimanded.

A bizarre alternative has however come via the Brazilian league, where a player paid tribute to Michael Jackson by moonwalking to display his shirt number when booked.

The referee asked for the player to display his squad number, with numero seis going all Wacko, much to the groundsman's chagrin.

The player who performed the moves was defender Gerson Barbosa, AKA Tobi, who plies his trade with Sport Club do Recife.
