Dennis Skinner's Best Quip Yet? (WATCH)

Dennis Skinner's customary Queen's speech quip had a mixed reaction this year.

He told Black Rod: “Jubilee year, double-dip recession, what a start.”

While some thought it was his best yet, others were unimpressed at the line.

It certainly didn't beat his 1997 jibe: "New Labour, New Black Rod," or 2010 where he shouted "No royal commissions this week" in reference to the story that Sarah Ferguson had been caught trying to sell access to Prince Andrew.

The Labour MP is used to splitting opinion - prime minister David Cameron has recently called him a dinosaur and urged him to retire.
