We all know that Essex is all about the vajazzles, the extensions and, most importantly, the deep mahogany tans.

But Lydia Bright may be regretting ditching the fake bake in favour of trying to get a natural glow.

The TOWIE star showed off a seriously burnt bum as she she took a beach shower whilst on holiday in Dubai.

Normally Lydia is queen of rocking the pale and interesting look (we like to think of her as the Nicola Roberts of TOWIE), but as she was obviously caught totally unaware of the paparazzi, her painful burn lines were on show.

Clearly someone wasn't slopping on enough factor 30.

And she's been feeling the effects too - since landing back in London yesterday, she told her Twitter followers of her tanning disaster.

"OMG burnt my bottom so bad haha," she wrote.
