Prince Charles Turns Weatherman On BBC Scotland

Prince Charles masqueraded as a weather girl today during a tour of BBC Scotland’s Pacific Quay headquarters.

HRH delivered a rainy forecast as he provided the lunchtime weather bulletin.

Confidently addressing the camera, the 63-year-old Prince said: "The best of the bright and dry weather will of course be in the northern isles and the far north of the mainland. So, a little hazy sunshine for the Castle of Mey in Caithness.

Camilla also took to the stage, much to newsreader Sally Magnusson's amusement

"But a cold day everywhere with temperatures of just 8C and a brisk northerly wind. Thank God it isn't a bank holiday."

His wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall also had a go in front of the cameras.

The couple were in Scotland as part of the annual Holyrood week and their tour of the BBC Scotland studios coincided with the station's celebration of its 60th year.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are also patrons of Holyrood week, which celebrates Scottish culture, history and achievements.

My heart bounced when I read this, the state of this country yet he and his horse find time to p*ss about like this.
Mr Hague should tell him to work harder.
My how I laugh/cry.

This man usually comes over stuffy but with a huge heart and a passion for original Britain. A good man but a touch out of touch with the general people. Today though he went up in my estimation. What a sense of humour. I hope the BBC offered him a spot!
