When you watch Derek you can see he is either a great actor or he is totally out of his tree and deluded. Even if he is genuine he would be very boring to be with as it is all he ever talks about and he is only interested in the spirit world, himself and making money. I bet he isnt even interested in sex, and that is sayng something.
