The Duchess of Cambridge has once again stolen the limelight with her latest public appearance.

Duchess Kate was attending the Queen's Diamond Jubilee lunch on Friday along with the sovereigns of 26 nations, yet despite the competition from the likes of the Queen of Jordan and Princess Lalla Meryem of Morocco, she still managed to stand out from the rest.

Wearing a light pink, knee-length dress by designer Emilia Wickstead, the Duchess once again mastered the tricky balance of looking glamorous whilst retaining an air of regal respectability.

When will people get it into their heads that she is no longer a Middleton?? Did we carry on calling Diana "Diana Spencer" after she married Prince Charles? No, because she was no longer a Spencer.

Are we avoiding saying that her name is actually Katherine Windsor - Mountbatten, her Grace the Duchess of Cambridge, or some combination of that set of words? Soon to be called Her Royal Highness when she is delivered of the heir and the spare, God willing. After that you may call her Queen, and if you get THAT wrong the EX Miss Middleton will make your teeth rattle. The bloke in the red jacket behind her didn't get the gong at the left hand end for patsying around on parade grounds you know, he eats hacks, with or without innards.
