Digital Shoreditch Festival Launches In London

A celebration of all things digital has sprung up in Shoreditch today. The Digital Shoreditch Festival has taken over a new, pop-up building called Hackney House.

Running from 21 May to 1 June, the festival is the in an annual event, and aims to blow other tech think-fests out of the water with 12 days of talks, panels, from the creative tech and digital industries.

Speakers will include Andrew Gilbert, Executive Vice President, European innovation development at Qualcomm and Simon Acland, venture capitalist and author of the acclaimed Angels, Dragons and Vultures.

The idea is to connect companies with innovators and investors, and to expand the minds of anyone interested in digital.
