Piers Morgan's Life Stories - Jimmy Tarbuck - ITV1, 9pm
Jimmy Tarbuck, the man who was once called the 'fifth Beatle', joins Piers on his chat show to talk about his life and 50-year showbiz career. Tarbuck opens up about the night in April 1984 when he was hosting the live TV show in which Tommy Cooper collapsed on stage and later died.
Have I Got News For You - BBC1, 9pm
Captain Kirk mans the Have I Got News For You ship. The actor, famed for his role in the cult sci-fi show Star Trek, will join regular stars Ian Hislop and Paul Merton and guests Andy Hamilton and Charlie Brooker.
The 81-year-old, who played Kirk for 79 episodes and several films, recently said: "English sense of humour is different from American sense of humour. Luckily, I'm Canadian."
Saturday
The Voice UK - BBC1, 6.30pm
This Saturday's TV line-up is all about the warblers. First, it's The Voice semi-final. There are now only eight acts left - Jessie J's hopes are riding on Vince and Becky, Tom Jones has Leanne and Ruth, Bo and Max make up Team Danny, while Will.i.am is represented by Jaz and Tyler. Cheryl Cole, previously an X Factor judge, will also take to the stage to sing her new single Call My Name.
Eurovision Song Contest Final - BBC1, 8.00pm
From The Voice, where covers of songs you've probably heard before are bellowed, it's on to Eurovision where it's pretty hard to pronounce even the song's names, let alone remember the lyrics. Apart from Greece's Aphrodisiac, which is very repetitive.
Out of the 26 acts competing for the coveted prize the hopes of the UK rest on Engelbert Humperdinck and his ballad Love Will Set You Free. He's currently placed fifth in the betting odds, behind Serbia with Nije ljubav stvar, Italy with L'amore è femmina (Out of Love), the Russian grannies with Party for Everybody and number one favourite Sweden with Euphoria.See photos of all 26 contestants here.

The Voice UK - BBC1, 7.15pm
Sorry to mention The Voice again in one article, but Kylie Minogue is performing their new single on the results show. Worth tuning in for even if you're not interested in seeing which acts get through to next week's final.
British Academy Television Awards - BBC1, 8pm
TV's biggest stars don their best frocks and black-tie for the biggest event in the TV calendar. Dara O Briain hosts from London’s Royal Festival Hall and programmes including Spooks, This Is England '88, Misfits, Scott & Bailey, The Fades, Appropriate Adult and Fresh Meat are battling for recognition.
Actors hoping for a gong include Sherlock's Benedict Cumberbatch and one person guaranteed a prize is entertainer Rolf Harris, who is being awarded this year's Bafta Fellowship.
