Sex And The City's Cynthia Nixon has tied the knot to her long-term girlfriend Christine Marinoni.
The couple exchanged vows yesterday in a New York ceremony, three years after announcing their engagement at rally supporting same-sex marriage.
A spokersperson for the actress confirmed the union, telling People.com: "On May 27, 2012, Cynthia Nixon and her girlfriend, Christine Marinoni, were legally married in the state of New York."
Cynthia and Christine have been together since 2004 and Christine gave birth to their son Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni in 2011.
Cynthia was previously married to English professor Danny Mozes from 1988 to 2003 and have two children together.
Discussing her sexulaity in 2008, she told the Daily Telegraph: "I don't really feel I've changed. I'd been with men all my life, and I'd never fallen in love with a woman. But when I did, it didn't seem so strange. I'm just a woman in love with another woman."
