Soccer Aid: Gordon Ramsay, Will Ferrell Injured During All-Star Football Match (PHOTOS)

Gordon And Will Injured At Soccer Aid

Gordon Ramsay and Will Ferrell will be nursing bruised egos and bodies on Monday after they were both injured during the all-star Soccer Aid match on Sunday.

English celebrities including Robbie Williams, Mark Owen, Aston Merrygold, Olly Murs and Marvin Humes went up against Mike Myers, Gerard Butler, Edward Norton, Woody Harrelson and Michael Sheen at the fundraising event for UNICEF in Manchester.

Kasabian rocker Serge Pizzorno opened the scoring for the Rest of the World team by getting one past former goalkeeper David Seaman, leaving the England side trailing.

However, they hit back in style in the second half with goals from Teddy Sheringham, captain Jonathan Wilkes and soccer ace Kevin Phillips to make the game 3-1.

There was more drama to come in the latter part of the match when TV chef Gordon was knocked from behind by Teddy.

He was tended to on the pitch and also given oxygen before he was stretchered off.

That wasn't the only injury - Anchorman star Will hobbled out of the match after hurting his leg late in the second half, while Olly also took a knock.

The event, organised by Robbie Williams, raised more than £4 million for UNICEF and rocker Serge was awarded the Man of the Match honour for his stunning goal.

Speaking on ITV after the game, Olly declared, "It's a great feeling, it really is, it's just a shame I had to come off actually as I really enjoyed myself... just really happy for the whole team and for everyone that took part in Soccer Aid, it's been amazing this year."

Welsh actor Michael was gracious in defeat, joking, "No more boy bands from now on, that's it, no more!"
