Aaaww, it warms our cockles to hear that Victoria and David Beckham have asked their chum Eva Longoria to be godmother to their daughter Harper.
The 10-month-old is due to be christened later this year and Eva is 'thrilled' that she's been asked to take on the role in the little 'uns life.
The Desperate Housewives actress told The Mirror: "Victoria asked me to be Harper's godmother and of course I said yes. I'm absolutely thrilled. Harper is simply adorable."
The Beckham's and their sons Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 9 and Cruz, 7, are due to fly back to the UK for the ceremony which is expected to take place at their Hertfordshire mansion.
A-list guests expected to attend include Tom Cruise and his wife Katie Holmes as well as Will Smith.
It's not the first time Posh and Becks have chosen celebrity friends as godparents - Elton John and David Furnish are godfathers to their sons Brooklyn and Romeo.
