Pizza Hut Hires Royal Family Impersonators To Appear In Its 'Crown Crust' Advert (VIDEO)

WATCH: The Queen Eating A Pizza? In An Advert?

Many companies have tried to use the Windsor brand to their advantage. Most memorably, T-Mobile gathered together some of the United Kingdom's finest royal impersonators and got them to dance in 'Westminster Abbey' before William and Kate's wedding in 2011.

Pizza Hut is the latest to give their products the royal treatment, putting a group of admittedly not quite so good lookalikes into one of their restaurants and getting them to chow down on their new 'Crown Crust' pizzas.

The Charles-waiting-forever-to-be-king gags are all present and correct, but the voices have been dubbed in by other actors, making the whole event really rather strange at times. As if watching the Head of the Commonwealth nibble on a stuffed crust wasn't weird enough, we know...

A tip of the crown to the Camilla wannabe, who looks just right, as well as the psuedo-Kate, who does sterling work eating a particularly stringy bit of cheese.

Anyway, to compare and contrast, here's that T-Mobile advert we mentioned earlier. All together now: "Everybody in the house of love..."
