Queen's Diamond Jubilee: Brits Will Spend £823m On ‘Patriotic Pride' Purchases (PICTURES Jubilee Products Round-Up)

Brits Will Spend £823m On Diamond Jubilee Memorabilia

Brits will splash out a cool £823m treating themselves to patriotic souvenirs, food and booze to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee this weekend, experts predict.

According to a study by MoneySupermarket.com, 44% of the nation plan intend to celebrate, with one in five people intending to buy extra food and booze.

And a further 8% will be spending money on royal memorabilia, Jubilee trinkets and decorations.

B&Q have already sold 3,120 royal garden gnomes (based on the Queen and Prince Philip) since they went on sale last month, reports The Telegraph.

Alcohol specialists are also getting in on the action, with Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne launching its £10,000 ‘Diamond Jubilee Fizz’ cocktail and Gordon & MacPhail recently unveiling its £8,000 bottle of Glen Grant whisky to commemorate the occasion.

So, whether you're planning to spend your cash on a few patriotic flags or go for full-on royal paraphernalia (mugs, tea towels and all), HuffPost Lifestyle has rounded up the best - and occasionally most tacky - Jubilee products to make it onto the market!

From wacky jelly moulds shaped like the Queen's head, ‘Ice Queen’ scoopers and even a Union Jack emblazoned stair lift (we’re not joking…) to stylish memorabilia, there's definitely a memento here for everyone.
