Ice Cream Wars On Lancashire St Played Out On YouTube Video

'Ice Cream Wars' Filmed On Lancashire Street

On first glance this roadside fracas between ice cream vendors 'Mr Yummy' and 'Mr Whippy' seems a moment of comedy more suited to Little Britain than a quiet suburban Lancashire street.

The incident, filmed by Mobeen Yaseen, a resident on Palatine Road in Blackburn, has attracted more than half a million views on youtube with many users poking fun at the video titled 'Ice cream wars.'

"The other guy's very lucky — he could have pulled out a Magnum" writes one YouTube user, while another wrote: " The UK is a lawless wasteland."

However Mohammed Mulla, who sells ice cream under the trade name 'Mr Whippy' told the BBC he only drove into the van infront, owned by Zeheer Ramzan, whilst he was suffering a panic attack, as he had been blocked in.

He showed the broadcasters injuries he had suffered when Ramzan smashed his window. Ramzan has declined to comment, reports the BBC.

Blackburn with Darwen Council told the Huffington Post UK it was investigating the incident.
