According to a recent study by Alliance & Leicester, Brits spend over £1,000 on DIY quick fixes to help spruce up their home.
However, while one in five of us freshen up our homes with a lick of paint or a new carpet – you don’t have to spend a shed load of money to give your house a much-needed spring clean.
Although a third of Brits admit to spending less than two hours a week cleaning and maintaining their homes (according to a poll by Vileda), simple spring cleaning checks can make a huge difference (and save you money in the long-run).
