Chelsea has confirmed the Champions League trophy was damaged after the Blues' May triumph.
Roberto di Matteo's side beat Bayern Munich 4-3 on penalties in the Bavarian final last month for their first ever Champions League triumph, but one of the handles has reportedly been dislodged.
A club spokesman said: "The (Champions League replica) trophy was accidentally damaged while pictures were being taken. It has been repaired."
Three members of the Chelsea staff have been suspended, after three security personnel allegedly posed for pictures with the jug out of hours when the it was damaged.
