Barack Obama 'Naked' In New Ad Campaign

Ever wondered what Barack Obama looks like naked?

A new advertising campaign created by an agency in Ecuador is giving you an opportunity to find out – well, sort of.

Using the wonders of digital software, Delta creative director Pablo Mayoral has created a series that show world figures in vulnerable positions, including the American president, his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.

The provocative ads are to promote a campaign run by the political Vanguardia Magazine that is all about ‘La Verdad al Desnudo,’ or ‘The Naked Truth’.

Personally, it reminds us of those rather suspect ‘famous nudes’ that used to pop up in less reputable Sunday tabloids back when ‘Photoshopped’ was a emerging concept - usually just a pop star’s head grafted onto a glamour model’s body.

That said, it’s a bold piece of work that seems to encapsulate the values of a determined political magazine perfectly - proof, as if more were needed, that a well designed image or artwork can say more than a thousand articles.

Wikipeeks? Julian Assange also features in the campaign

What do you think? Any other politicians you’d like to see ‘naked’, or is that just a silly question?
