Laura Robson has been beaten in the first round of the Wimbledon Championships by Italian Francesca Schiavone.
The 18-year-old won the opening set 6-2 yet then went on to lose the remaining two sets 6-4 6-4 to her 32-year-old opponent.
Robson saved four match points in the third set on Schiavone's service game, but could not dig deep enough to turn the match around in her favour.
