A mother bear has been caught on camera rescuing one of her cubs after it became trapped in a California resident's garage.
Captured near Lake Tahoe, California, the bear became trapped after running into the garage as the automatic door was closing.
When the video, which you can watch above, begins, the cub is trying to escape, climbing up the door supports searching for a way out.

As her noble dog barks valiantly in defence, Judy Coovers, the homeowner, films the bear trying to figure out how to escape.
At that moment his mother begins forcing the door open, before apparently calling for the cub, which then skips down a conveniently placed ladder and wanders off back into the wild.
