In Britain, we call them gaffes. In America, they call them bloopers. As for the internet... well, the internet calls them fails, because, you know, the word fail is so win right now.
But whatever term you prefer, there's no doubt the joys to be had in seeing journalists cock up big time whilst live on TV. After all, they're meant to represent all that's serious about the world, so when you see them slipping up and squealing on an ice rink, it's hard to suppress a giggle.
