Anakin was born without a fully-formed pelvis or back legs, which forced the poor little mite to learn how to walk on his front legs alone.
The stray kitten was discovered by his new owner Carrie Hawks near her father's work at Pensacola, Florida, and as a dedicated animal lover, she took him in to see he got the medical attention and love he deserved.
Now he's as happy as any cat could ever be, playing with his toys and scampering around Carrie's bathroom without a care in the world.
“He is building up the muscles in his body, back and front legs gradually, so he may continue to support his weight as he grows," explains Hawks on her website.
“We'll be keeping an eye on his his weight for sure," she adds. "However, as he gets older, should our vet and I decide he needs one, we will definitely get him fitted for some wheels."
