And there was something missing as she filmed scenes for Project Runway in New York - her wedding ring.
A sign that things really are O-VAH between the couple, Katie had slipped off her wedding band and engagement ring as she left the Parsons New School of Design in Manhattan.
The former Dawson's Creek star was rocking some serious post-split chic though in a navy shirt dress and towering leopard print sandals - something we think we'll be seeing a LOT more of now she's no longer with her vertically challenged hubby.
It was revealed she and Tom were ending their five year marriage on Friday when Katie's attorney released a short statement, which read: "This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family.
"Katie's primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter's best interest."
Meanwhile, Tom is celebrating his 50th birthday today.
