The 23-year-old Princeton student rushed to the defence of her father, former Barclays boss Bob Diamond, on Tuesday tweeting that he was her hero.
She has also retweeted posts about her beleaguered Dad, such as 'Bob Diamond has been downgraded to Bob Diamante' and 'Careful people. There's a wanted criminal on the loose in London. One understands his name is Bob Diamond'.

The student, who writes a fashion column titled 'Couture For the Crowds', advising people how to dress in the recession also campaigns for the charity Unicef.
She has two brothers, Charlie and Rob.
