Huff Post going after a daughter defending her dad. New low from a site that gets lower by the day.

Whoah, this is below the belt. I defer to no-one in my fervent desire to see Bob Diamond and his cronies put behind bars where they belong, but going after his daughter is quite wrong. Yes, they were public comments but she is still young and, of course, she supports her dad. In children, that's a good thing unless and until it's been proven not to be beyond all, let alone reasonable, doubt. Bad form, HuffPo.

What normal child from a loving family won't stick up for her dad. Obviously The Huff is trying to start a discussion on this and has been careful not to form a view but what does "interesting lifestyle mean"? I am just waiting for jealous comments to start flowing following the picture of her at a masquerade ball. Truth is that relatively normal middle class people either have been or could quite easily go to such a thing (should they wish).

I saw someone saying somewhere that she must in some way be complicit in the crimes of her father. WTF? She is 23. Her biggest crime was to join a bank because she admired her dad so much. Further, although we all want to hate Bob Diamond nothing has been proven against him personally yet. Never mind his poor daughter who is simply doing what any headstrong child would do in defence of a parent. £millions mean little when you are being villified in public before you are proven guilty of anything.
