'One Direction - The Movie' Release Date Announced

One Direction's film has been given an official release date of 25 October, 2013.

Meaning fans of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson only have 475 days to wait until they can see their cute boys' faces projected on to the big screen.

The film will either see the boyband appear in a scripted comedy or a documentary featuring clips of the them in concert.

The lads, who were finalists in 2010's X Factor series are reportedly set to earn £10m from the venture.

Since the X Factor their debut album Up All Night has became the fastest-selling debut album in the UK of 2011. And in 2012, it debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200, making One Direction the first UK group in U.S. chart history to debut at number one with their first album.

They reportedly now represent a $50 million business empire and have earned millions of screaming fans across the globe, causing scenes of pandaemonium wherever they show up with their floppy hair.
