If the thought of sweating it out in the gym doesn’t appeal, the real answer to weight-loss may not be at the end of a treadmill but staring back at you from your underwear drawer.

Italian clothing company MyShapes claims it has created a pair of knickers that double up as shapewear undies and effective fat burners that can eliminate the appearance of cellulite.

After testing the ‘Emana’ range (the ‘curative and cosmetic line’ that includes high-waisted thongs and leggings) for 60 days, 50 female testers noted an 11% decrease in the appearance of cellulite, reports the Daily Mail.

MyShapes claims the knickers eliminate toxins in the body, which cause the appearance of that dreaded, bumpy ‘orange peel’ look.

“These are a permanent anti-cellulite treatment for a more toned, elastic and younger skin. An international patent clinically tested and certified,” states the website.
