Or schoolboy. His Royal Highness was pictured on Wednesday afternoon tackling the obstacle during a tour of Grainville Secondary School in St Helier, as part of a Diamond Jubilee visit to the Channel Islands.

As a non-plussed small boy in army fatigues observed, the 63-year-old soldiered on, concentration etched on his noble features.
Despite looking very much like a fish-out-of water much of the time, the Prince has a reputation for rolling up his sleeves and taking a sip of normal life – often with humorous results as these pictures reveal.
Whether he’s presenting the BBC weather forecast, bouncing on armchairs or throwing awkward shapes, one has to admire his gung-ho approach to royal duties.
