Don't you just hate it when you sit through an awards ceremony and your favourite band bags a gong, only to find out they're not there to accept it in person?
Well, never ones to leave their fans disappointed, those rascals from One Direction recorded a special video to say thanks for their three Teen Choice Awards, after being unable to jet to the States to collect them in person.
But instead of making a bog standard 'sorry we can't be there' VT, the boys got creative with an A Team-inspired spoof, which sees them trying to piece together the surfboard-shaped gong after it had to be chopped up in order to get it through the post.
We don't think the boys will be winning any awards for their DIY skills any time soon though...

The lads took home the awards for Group of the Summer, Breakout Group and Love Song for What Makes You Beautiful.
