Mario Balotelli, Manchester City Star, Says Would Have Been A UFC Fighter If He Wasn't A Footballer (VIDEO)

WATCH: I Might Have Been A UFC Fighter - Balotelli

Laugh at or loathe him, Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli gets people talking. And the Premier League "character" has now revealed he would have been a UFC fighter had he not forged a career as a footballer.

It's been a while since Balotelli opened his mouth. A team-mate even had to cover his trap as he began an outburst after he scored against the Republic of Ireland at the European Championship, but now the Italian is back.

His future looks secure at City (for now) despite Roberto Mancini seemingly beckoning him towards the exit. Although beckoning may be putting it mildly.

Yet Mancini also said it was "impossible" for Carlos Tévez to play again, yet he did. So expect to see the ex-Inter man back at Eastlands next season.

See what Balo has to say in the video.

Mario Balotelli was speaking at the launch of City's new Umbro home shirt, which retains the club's iconic sky blue colour and also incorporates black detailing and trim which takes influence from the 1969 FA Cup and 1970 League Cup winning kits. The new Away shirt sees a return to the classic maroon colour worn by the FA Cup winning teams of 1934 and 1956, also tailored by Umbro.
