To celebrate the start of the London Olympics, we're honouring 15 former athletes who've swapped their track and field sports for time in front of the TV and film cameras.

There are the stars whose Olympic efforts still eclipse them, to those you could be forgiven for thinking had always been in the glamorous world of entertainment.
