Leave the needy alone and out the parasites that's what people want

Did anyone watch the 'Dispatches' programme on Monday? 'Panorama' also dealt with this subject.
Whilst I understand the need (and support it) to vigorously weed out any fraudsters and cheats, who 'milk' our benefits system, the above programme shows you just what an incompetent bureaucracy does when it attempts to crack down on such despicable behaviour. It brings in a 'tick box' system, dreamed up by desk-bound bureaucrats, weilding a sledgehammer, who know little about medical conditions, and set out to take a 'targeted' number of people off ESA. The programme exposed this brilliantly, if depressingly sadly.
Neither the DWP or ATOS (the private firm administering the project) agreed to be interviewed, they supplied quotes, which denied any 'targets' being set, yet through secret filming this was exposed as a lie. It was galling to have the quotes on the screen followed by the secret filming which showed them as lies.
It was clear that several genuinely ill people had their medical background ignored, it was all down to a 40 minute tick box exercise, and brought back in again shortly afterwards if the 'right' answer was not obtained the first time!
Duncan Smith and his cohorts should be brought back from holiday, the programme repeated with them in the studio, and then grilled for their response. We, the people, should insist on this.
I know what the programme exposed to be true, I have personal experience of this shameful and unjust treatment from a so-called civilised government.

Perhaps they could stop calling it benefits,after all they have to work for it these days.

Where are the jobs the private sector were supposed to come up with to balance the mass of job losses in the public sector?

Is this Cameron's vision of the "Big Society"?

Btw - these are rhetorical questions.

More unrest on our Streets! When will these fools learn? Animal instinct, no food on the table what do you do? Crime will be up 100%!

If all this work needs doing why arn't people being given JOBS doing it? (Anyone here old enough to remember jobs?) Jobs 'how they used to combat unemployment not schemes that just undermine and destroy jobs which leads to even less money in the economy and a never ending spirral of esculating higher unemployment.

Another think tank says getting a million unemployed to carry out forced labour of any benefit to society would mean the creation of ½ million jobs and an economic boost to the arms industry!
