Nicola Roberts is about to dish out fashion advice as part of her new show Styled To Rock.

So as it received a fancy launch party last night, you'd think Nic would be dying to wow the ever critical fashion crowd with a stunning outfit they'd be banging on about for days.

Well, you'd be wrong.

The Girls Aloud star opted for an oversized Montreal Canadiens hockey jersey at the launch of the Sky Living show, in which she appears as a fashion mentor. Awkward.

The red, white and blue *checks notes* ensemble hung off Nicola's frame as she teamed it with a pair of strappy white heels better suited for a night out in Essex, for the press launch at the Soho Hotel in London, followed by the bash at The Box nightclub.

Now we realise there is something going on called the Olympics, so perhaps Nicola just wanted to show how big a sports fan she is, but you wouldn't catch Posh doing it.

Nicola was joined by fellow mentors Lysa Cooper and Henry Holland at the event, but there was no sign of the show's executive producer Rihanna.

It has been revealed the show will feature appearances from Cheryl Cole, Katy Perry, The Scissor Sisters, The Saturdays, Pixie Lott, Rizzle Kicks, Tinchy Stryder, Little Mix, Katy B and Little Boots.
