Rihanna showed her soft side when she paid a touching tribute to her late grandmother on Twitter.
In a previously unseen photo, the singer can be seen as a child with her Gran, alongside a picture of them before she died earlier this year.
As she posted it on the social networking site, she simply wrote: "Thank you #grangranDolly"
Clara Braithwaite, who Rihanna affectionately called GranGran Dolly, lost her long battle with cancer in July.

Rihanna has since kept a relatively low profile, spending some time with her family in Barbados, before holidaying in Europe with friends.
