Britney Spears looks back to her best in a new snap she's posted on her official Facebook page.

The singer - wearing a white halter neck bikini - looks tanned, toned and happy in the pic taken during a day at the beach.

Accompanying the pic was a message from the pop princess, saying: “Y’all ready for summer to end? I’m definitely not!"

The 30-year-old star has been hitting the gym hard ahead of the return of the US X Factor, which she is a judge on.

Well that's one way to get the viewing figures up.
