To say that Caroline Flack got some, errr, flack (sorry) over her age-gap relationship with One Direction's Harry Styles would be the understatement of the year.
But the Xtra Factor presenter has spoken candidly about the romance revealing she doesn't regret the relationship despite the negative attention it received.
Posing for a sultry new photoshoot for Look magazine she said: "I wouldn’t edit anything out of my life. I learnt the hard way that the easiest thing is to keep it to myself. With the whole Harry situation, about 95% of what was written was false. I didn’t really know where to begin," she said.
"But I’ve developed thicker skin and become more hardened to it. I don’t get as upset as I used to, but I’m still human.
On how she coped with the reaction at the time, she added: "I’m surprised – it’s tough. I didn’t kill someone, I just went out with someone younger. But there have been more positive reactions than negative ones."
Caroline and Harry were first linked together back in October last year and despite months of speculation, the only time they spoke about their relationship publicly was when they announced it was over in January.
Since then Caroline has been linked to a string of celebrity men including TOWIE's Joey Essex and Jordan from Rizzle Kicks, but in the interview Caroline admitted she is happily single and dating.
On her rumoured beaus she joked: "Oh, it’s all true! No, it does hurt when I read things that are made up. I’ve learnt a lot, like not to get taxis with boys!"
