Lily Allen Mocks Katherine Jenkins' Affair Denial Tweets

She's been very vocal on Twitter of late ahead of her big pop comeback, and now Lily Allen has got all sarcastic on us - by mocking Katherine Jenkins over her tweets about an 'affair' with David Beckham.

The classical singer went online on Friday to address untrue rumours no one had ever heard of about her allegedly having a fling with the football hunk behind his wife Victoria's back.

She tweeted: "Dear Twitter friends, I've read some horrible rumours on here & want u 2 (you to) know I absolutely deny I've had an affair with David Beckham. The rumours are very hurtful, untrue & my lawyers tell me actionable.

"I've only met David twice: once at the Military Awards in 2010 & on a night out in the West End in Feb 2012. We were out in a group of friends & it was just a normal fun evening out. Just so we are clear I've never been on my own with him and never arranged to meet up."

Lily, who went all quiet when she 'retired' from music to be a mum, proved she was back at her feisty best by taking the mickey out of Katherine's statement - by denying a fake affair with rapper Jay-Z.

She wrote: "I'm really upset at the hurtful rumours going round about me having an affair with Jay Z. My lawyers tell me they are actionable.

"I've met him twice, once at the spotted pig in New York and once at the wireless festival. We have never been alone together etc etc."

Maybe it's Lily's second pregnancy which is sending her a bit strange - she's also having bizarre dreams about Lady Gaga.

Earlier in the week, she revealed: "I had a really weird dream about Lady Gaga last night."

The Smile hitmaker is currently in the studio working on comeback material, and jetted to LA last week to perform her new duet with Pink.
