A married couple have admitted to illegally claiming state benefits to maintain their son's private school education and prop up a lavish lifestyle.
Glyn and Gaye Williams, from Gloucester, admitted a total of six charges to Gloucester Crown Court on Tuesday relating to fiddling house and tax benefits.
The two, aged 47 and 38, paid for their son to attend private school with the money, which they claimed despite Mr Williams earning up to £1,500 a week.
Private education can cost upwards of £3,000 per term in the UK.

Gaye Williams alleged she was a single mother to receive extra housing and tax benefits and income support, all the while living with her husband.
As well as paying for their son to receive his costly education, the two spent their money on multiple Dogue de Bordeaux dogs, which reportedly cost close to £1,000.
The couple had been given six months by Judge Jamie Tabor to repay the debts owed to the Department of Work and Pensions but were unable to repay the full £11,500 owed.
Mrs Williams, who admitted to three counts of obtaining benefits dishonestly, and Mr Williams, who confessed to three charges of possessing criminal property – his wife's benefit money – will be sentenced on 11 September.
