Seal: 'I Wasn't Implying Heidi Klum Cheated'

Seal has spoken out to insist his recent comments about estranged wife Heidi Klum weren't meant to infer she had an affair.

In a video interview with TMZ, the singer said Heidi "lacked class" and went on to claim that their marriage ended after she cheated on him with her bodyguard.

He told the website: "I guess the only thing I would have preferred is that... Whilst I didn't expect any better from him, I would have thought Heidi would have shown a little bit more class... before deciding to fornicate with the help, as it were, but I guess you all now have the answer you've been looking for for the past seven months."

But Seal has now done a massive u-turn, with his spokesperson telling TMZ that he was just pointing out Heidi had begun another relationship before their divorce was finalised.

"Seal would like to clarify that he was not implying his wife was cheating while they were together, but he was merely pointing out that their separation and divorce are not yet final and they are indeed still legally married," they said.

After the video hit the web over the weekend, Heidi's reps issued a statement to Us Weekly denying the claims and branding Seal's behaviour "sad".

"It is sad that Seal has to resort to this kind of behavior and spread these untruths about the mother of his children," they said.

The couple announced their split in January after six years of marriage, claiming they had "grown apart".
