Remember Chatroulette? The random video chat website burned brightly back in 2010 after its mix of serendipity and unwanted nudity took the Internet by storm.
Since then the site has fallen in popularity - but we think one competitor inspired by its success might have found a way to bring the idea back to the masses.
Catroulette is basically Chatroulette with cats. Run by a group of cat charities and adoption agencies in Belgium, it connects users to apparently live video feeds of various cats which you could (if you lived in Belgium) adopt.
If you're just there for the cats, however, you can easily "next" the offending moggie and breeze through the feeds until you find one to your liking. Much like the original Chatroulette.
So if you feel like helping to find homes for needy cats - or just want something cute to look at for a few minutes, Catroulette might be your answer.
