GQ Awards: Gary And Robbie Rule The World

Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams proved Take That really do Rule The World after winning the top honours at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London on Tuesday night.

The stars were all smiles as they picked up their prizes - Gary bagged the Outstanding Achievement trophy, while Robbie landed the Icon Award.

The Angels singer was accompanied to the ceremony by his heavily-pregnant wife Ayda Field - who looked ready to pop in a black maternity dress.

Speaking to The Sun about his unborn daughter, Robbie said: "She's a mini-Robbie. I'm excited but in truth I'm s**tting myself", and joked: "I'm really craving Minstrels and Prawn Cocktail crisps."

Team GB's Olympic and Paralympic athletes were the guests of honour at the bash - Mo Farah, Bradley Wiggins, Victoria Pendleton, Sir Chris Hoy and Ellie Simmonds were among those on hand to accept the Team of the Year gong.

Other winners at the ceremony included Homeland star Damian Lewis - he got the TV Personality prize - and Michael Fassbender, who was named Actor of the Year.

Sacha Baron Cohen bagged the Best Comedian honour and was given the trophy by Rob Brydon, while film producer Harvey Weinstein presented the Editor's Special award to James Corden.

Chris Hemsworth bagged the International Breakthrough accolade, Sir Tom Jones landed the Legend Award and Lana Del Rey got Woman of the Year, while guests at the bash included Kelly Brook, Olivia Munn and Jessie J.

The Price Tag hitmaker was delighted when her pal Tinie Tempah was named the recipient of the Solo Artist prize at the ceremony, which was hosted by Jimmy Carr and David Walliams.

She wrote on Twitter: "Woooo Tinie Tempah won Best Solo Artist GQ Awards looking HOT! Cheers and congratulations T! Let's have a glass."
