Tony Blair's former chief spin doctor Alastair Campbell met his fictional doppelganger Malcolm Tucker - also known as Peter Capaldi from The Thick Of It - on Tuesday afternoon.

Keen to show that he was still the master of political expletives, Campbell tweeted: "Capaldi got nine f**ks in one sentence - I got eleven."
