Kimberley Walsh Gets Strictly Help From Bandmate Cheryl Cole

Kimberley Gets Cheryl's Help Ahead Of Strictly Debut

Kimberley Walsh has been getting a bit of help from Cheryl Cole ahead of her stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

Kimberley is not exactly a stranger to the world of performing, but she has admitted she is feeling a little bit daunted about dancing live in front of millions of viewers each weekend.

But luckily for Kim, her Girls Aloud bandmate and best pal Cheryl has been on hand to offer some tips to make sure she can perform a passable Paso Doble.

Speaking to The Sun ahead of the start of the new series, the former star of Shrek The Musical, said: "Cheryl's never been asked to do Strictly but she wouldn't be allowed - she's too good.

Kimberley's recruited bandmate Cheryl for advice on live performing

"She has been helping me with some steps. I asked her to show me an absolutely basic waltz, but even then I forgot after about five minutes."

Kimberley had been approached to take part in the show twice before, but she had to turn down the opportunity because of commitments in the band.

But it was third time lucky for the show's makers, as Cheryl and Nicola Roberts persuaded Kimberley it was too good an opportunity to miss.

Hopefully for Kim, Chezza's help will mean she doesn't waltz off the show in the first week.
