We had great fun compiling out gallery of nostalgic TV memories and reminiscing over catch phrases; the older (ahem!) amongst us arguing the simple merits of Mary, Mungo and Midge against the younger charms of Banana Man and the like.
We hope you'll agree these are some of the very best programmes to have grown up watching. Each picture has a video link so you can show your children that sometimes the oldest simply are the best. Or maybe whatever you grow up watching is always going to be special.
