Emma Watson On Why Finding Love Is Hasn't Been Such A Magical Experience

Why Romance Hasn't Been So Magical For Emma Watson

Emma Watson may have brains, beauty and a dazzling film career, but that does not mean it is easy finding love.

Spending most of her childhood playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint may have set Emma up for life, but she also missed the chance to go through the normal ups and downs of teenage years.

Speaking to The Mirror, the 22-year-old star said finding out about love has been a tough path for her.

She said: "When I started dating I had this kind of Romeo and Juliet fateful, romantic idea about love. It was almost that you were a victim – that there was a lot of pain involved and that was how it should be."

Ms Watson said that it's been difficult finding someone who cast a spell over her

But she explained that after a couple of unsuccessful attempts at finding the right man, she realised this is not what love is all about.

She added: "It sounds like a cliche but I also learnt that you’re not going to fall for the right (man) until you love yourself and feel good about how you are."

The star is currently dating fellow student Will Adamowicz who she met while studying at Oxford University.

With just one term left until she officially graduates, Emma has already lined up plenty of acting jobs, signing up to start work on Noah alongside Ray Winstone and Russell Crowe this year.
