As job descriptions go, this traffic officer should head straight to his HR department.

He not only directs busy traffic in Bangkok, but also acts as a roadside midwife when mums-to-be on the way to hospital give birth in their cars while stuck in traffic jams.

The traffic cops on duty in the Thai capital have had special training to cope with on-the-move births.
