STRICTLY COME DANCING: Will Jerry Hall Prove Judge Craig Revel Horwood Wrong?

STRICTLY: Will Jerry Hall Prove Judge Craig Wrong?

Strictly Come Dancing kicks off on Friday evening, and already it seems there are favourites, and non-favourites.

Jerry Hall, Amazonian model turned authoress and actress, will have her work cut out impressing judge Craig Revel Horwood, after he told Alan Titchmarsh yesterday that she had "two right, or two left feet".

Jerry with Anton du Beke - can she confound one judge's dire prediction?

Speaking on Titchmarsh's chat show, Revel Horwood opined, "Jerry certainly won't be annihilating the world of dance."

Jerry Hall has previously appeared on the London stage in Chicago, and is partnered with Anton du Beke in this year's ballroom dancing competition.

Another contestant starting on the back foot is Johnny Ball, who had the misfortune to break his original partner Aliona Vilani's ankle during rehearsal, and has had to train with replacement Iveta Lukosiute at the last minute. Read more here...

Meanwhile, Victoria Pendleton is worried she's forgotten how to use her brain, and Louis Smith has reportedly finished with his girlfriend so he can admire rival contestant Kimberley Walsh in peace. So it's all going on already and the glitterball hasn't even been wound up, yet.

Strictly starts at 9pm on Friday, BBC1. Here are all the contestants below - who gets your vote?
