Kate And William Sent Reese Witherspoon's New Baby A Union Jack Babygro. Allegedly.

Ah, the start of a new week and a new Kate 'n' Wills based fairy-tale from US mag, Star!

This time, the publication that brought us the news that Kate was expecting twins, claims that the royal couple sent Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth a gift for their new baby boy, Tennessee.

And what inspired baby pressie does the magazine claim the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sent? A classy piece of silverware engraved with the baby's name perhaps? Or maybe a plush hand-made teddy bear from an upmarket toy shop?

Er, no. Star mag reckons that Catherine and William parcelled up a 'patriotic Union Jack baby-gro' for the new parents, accompanied by a hand-written note of congratulations.

Now we are having some trouble believing this story. It is the royal equivalent of Parentdish sending a PD logo-ed sleepsuit to an A-list celeb new-mum. And frankly, we just wouldn't.

And anyway, as everyone KNOWS, Kate and William are best friends with the Beckhams, not the Witherspoon-Toths and are all set to be Harper's godparents (another Star-inspired rumour) so any 'Union Jack' themed clothing will obviously be reserved for her. Probably.

What else could they have sent? Union Jack nappies or a patriotic high chair? Lots more inspiration in our gallery below...
