Stephen Gately's brother has released a single in tribute to the late Boyzone star, three years after his death.
Tony Gately has recorded He's Still Around to help raise funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) after losing his singer sibling in 2009 to an undiagnosed heart condition.
Tony admits the ballad is particularly meaningful to him as his brother was fond of it, telling entertainment site stv.tv, "It's a song Stephen liked. He had heard the original of the song, called She's Still Around, and he really liked it. I don't know if he was going to put it to the lads (in Boyzone) to put it on an album... but then he passed and the song got shelved.
"If fans can relate to it, or maybe somebody out there who has lost a loved one can relate to this that'll make me happy. I said to the producer, 'I don't care if it sells one copy or 10,000.' That's it out there - I've done it for my brother, and that's all that matters to me."
