Facebook is testing a 'Want' button to sit alongside its well-established 'Likes'.
The new concept is being trialled as a way to boost revenues via in-network purchases.
The new feature would let users add products to a wishlist ('Collections'), which would theoretically be purchased by friends and family. If they're lucky.
The pilot is the most recent attempt to boost Facebook's bottom line with new revenue streams. It recently launched features to let users buy each other real-life gifts, as well as a paid service to promote your personal posts to a wider audience.
