One Direction have made music history in the US, achieving the fastest-selling single by a UK artist with their song 'Live While We're Young'.
As a bonus, the upbeat tune has enjoyed the biggest opening week sales for a single by a non-US artist ever.

'Live While We're Young' has entered both the US Digital Tracks and Digital Songs Chart in top position, selling 341,000 copies in one week.

And the quintet's run of good luck shows no sign of abating. They have been nominated for three American Music Awards: New Artist Of The Year, Favourite Album and Favourite Band. One Direction's second album 'Take Me Home' is released in the UK on 12 November.
